How to Paint Digital Photorealistic painting in Photoshop

Aim of this tutorial is to help you understand where the lights and shwadows fall. Until now I had never wrote about rules to hold when you draw droplet. They are very easy:
Keep all stuff reflected in droplet upside down. Never start painting drop first. Just outline it, you never know how to draw water drop until you have finished background, unless it has no background.

I use soft brush all the time, there is no need to set textured brushes. Blury enviroment is our goal.

In the foreground, we are doing something like close-up view on tree branch, which will be much more detailed. Keep all around blury, now we are about to focus on branch.

As I mentioned before, everything inside water drop is upside down, so the sky is reflected at the bottom curve.

Making up details. All aroud must be reflection in water drop. For drawing such details I used small soft brush.

More details were add here. As you see droplet surface is also slightly reflecting light from the sky.
